The British Association for Holocaust Studies is organised in association with Holocaust Studies: A Journal of Culture and History. The journal is interested in the origins and consequences of the Holocaust and other Nazi genocides, the representation of the Holocaust in media, broadly defined, and its memorialisation in the public consciousness. Holocaust Studies: A Journal of Culture and History examines the global context of the Holocaust and its consequences, and as such it has a broad geographical but also chronological scope.
The journal publishes work that considers the Nazi politics of destruction in a global context, including their continuing and wide-ranging legal, social, cultural and political repercussions.
Members of and visitors to BAHS are encouraged to turn to the journal in order to access information on the latest research into the Nazi genocides as historical and social phenomena, and to integrate this research into their educational activities.
